Where our name comes from

Our name comes from the single dialect of the portuguese language, rather unknown from the most part of people, the "mirandês" dialect, or mirandese dialect in english. It is used in a remote area in the northen part of Portugal.

In Mirandês, sobrado means to walk on a rooftop ,on the top of a house.so Sobradores means the roofjumpers, nomadic people who go from house to house.

That will be our mission, going from home to home, entering people's lives and asking them:Why are you living like this? What are your values? What are your beliefs?your consuetudes and behaviours?
And then rising their awareness towards the world they're apart of, how can they be more friendly towards their habitat , the persons, fauna and flora around them. This can be axiomatic and clear for the most of people, but the deed is that most of people don't even consider this, and the ones that are aware of it, don't consider it as a major issue. This has to be changed.
